European Documentation Centre Exhibitions Held Nationwide

In the context of the fourth EU-Japan Friendship Week, an integrated series of sporting, academic and cultural events, European Documentation Centres (EDCs) are holding special exhibitions on current EU themes.

The EDC is an extensive information network which was created on a global level by the European communities in 1963. They provide all kinds of information on the European Union. Today there are a total of 656 documentation centres including 19 in Japan.

EDC “open days” will take place nationwide at the following universities:

Keio University, Tokyo

May 8th-May 24th

Kagawa University, Takamatsu

May 9th-May 16th

Nihon University, Mishima

May 10th-May 15th

University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa

May 12th-May 25th

Seinan Gakuin University, Fukuoka

May 17th-May 21st

Tohoku University, Sendai

May 17th-May 28th

Waseda University, Tokyo

May 28th

Hokkaido University, Sapporo

June 3rd-June 11th
