Joint press briefing on 2008 EU-Japan Regulatory Reform Dialogue Tokyo Meeting

The European Commission and Japan will hold their annual EU-Japan Regulatory Reform Dialogue High-Level Tokyo Meeting on Friday, 12 December at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
The meeting will be followed by a joint press briefing by Mr Jonathan Hatwell, Acting Head of Unit, Directorate-General for External Relations, European Commission, and Mr Hiroshi Matsuura, Director for Economic Integration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for members of the media.

Time: around 16:00 (exact time to be confirmed, pending conclusion of discussions)
Place: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Room 761 (Main Building, 7F)
Language: English and Japanese (simultaneous interpretation)
Please note that due to security reasons, those interested in attending this event must present a press ID issued by the National Diet of Japan or, in the case of foreign journalists, their press registration card issued by MOFA.
